Yep, that was last Thurs.. 2 years have flown by since the day we signed on the paper. We both took the day off to rest as well as spend some time together. Went for a sumptuous buffet lunch, followed by shopping for our gifts. Finally we both settled for Bra*n B*ffel wallets. Yay After that we returned home to prepare for the evening @ East Coast. I was armed with a trusty pineapple-tart-gong (sponsored by my mother-in-law) and all ready to bring home any little crabby i would find on the beach. :p Sadly, after walking along the beach for 20 mins, i couldnapos;t spot any signs of life on the sand. Just when i was about to give up, i saw this big snail shell lying upside-down among the rocks. I picked it up and placed it in my gong for inspection. Geez, thereapos;s a big hermit crab inside There was also a little snail near the spot where the crabby was, so... In goes the snail to keep crabby company. :D I was so excited with my discovery. Happily we came home with crabby and snaily in the gong, which i filled with some sand and seawater. But after coming home, i started to ponder.. Ok, so what do i do with them??? Hmm.. Both the creatures didnapos;t exactly fit my bill as ideal pets. So i decided to bring them to office the following day and see if anybody wanna adopt them. Well, everyone in the office were pretty disgusted by my newfound pets. No takers. Ahh i decided i should just bring them back home afterall.. So that very nite, i drove them back to East Coast and they regained freedom. :) Bye crabby Bye snaily Hope they enjoyed their 1-day land tour.. Hehe..

The City of Philadelphia and the bravest have a one year contract in place. According to Philly.com:

I�felt like the floor came out from under me.� Ivy has said "purful" for so long, and it was one of the words that we never actively corrected her on.� We had always considered that particular word to be a litmus test for her irrevocably growing up.� She was so damn cute, saying it like that.� Of course a parentapos;s ultimate goal is for their children to grow up, but I am definitely not comfortable with the rate at which that is happening.

I just ordered Brief Interviews With Hideous Men on Amazon for six dollars, whoo Iapos;ve been watching Sunny all day, and man oh man I forgot how much I love this show. Lina, Johnny-O and me used to sit around and watch this after the bars closed, and wow. So good

Iapos;m sad that there doesnapos;t seem to be a Sunny fandom. Itapos;s really too bad. Oh, and my mind is really smart-- the whole time Iapos;m watching, Iapos;m like, "Oh, Dee and Mac should definitely hook up, they have awesome chemistry." And guess what? I was watching Spike TV, and during the commercials, they announced that on Tuesday at 9pm, they will be showing clips of various [new] movies, including Twilight.
Iapos;m assuming itapos;ll be the trailer or some other type of behind-the-scenes clip weapos;ve already seen before elsewhere, but just in case it wasnapos;t I thought that I would mention it here in case anyone was interested in catching that bit of Twilight action.

and today, while speaking with a friend, i have conjured up a list of people i want to marry, and now will add why:

1) Josh- Right now heapos;s my main squeeze. Iapos;ve never felt anything this strong for anyone else. Heapos;s the sun that lights my world every morning and after dark heapos;s not very far.
2@) Kein- Who wouldnapos;t want to marry their muse? Itapos;d be an honor to marry your muse, donapos;t you think? I think this feeling is only temporary, but it may not be.
3#) Justin- Just to have him around. He looks so adorable in a uniform~ :*
4$) Kanon- Iapos;d love to wake up next to him every morning. Call it a Cafekoapos;s fantasy. I call it "wanting". Whatever.
5) Bou- Just to see how he is, really. I havenapos;t heard any word about his wellbeing since his departure from Antic Cafe and it hurts my heart.

Itapos;s been a while since I made a post about the Demarest Smash Brothers Effect, but here we go.

Scottapos;s recent post showed that he was #85 in america in magic and number #251 in the world.� Me and Jay routinley play against him, at a more or less equal level.� He is definatley better than us but not better enough to stomp us 100 of the time.

I am number 56 in the world in Super Smash Bros Brawl (rank slipped sue me).� Both Scott and Ben play me and beat me at least 50 of the time, and jays lucario... Is the fucking annoyance devil.

Iapos;m making this post becuase of the current top decks in Standard.� Before Shards of Alara became legal, me and scott were playing two decks against each other, Kithkin White Weenie, and Quick N Toast.� They both kind of conceptualized our magic playing philosophies, in that I enjoy finding quick efficient ways to lay damage on, and scott enjoys locking you down, while finding less quick but still efficient ways to lay the damage on.� The very first day after the prerelease, we ran these decks against each other and we still do whenever we play standard....� Now, both of them, nearly card for card are the two top decks to beat.

... And I canapos;t play Kithkin White Weenie anymore without being called a Net Decking cheater.

ooooooooooooooh well.... People complained about me using snake after he was pronounced top tier too.

Okay, going to try to not have more than one surgery-related post in a row for a bit. :D

Iapos;ve mentioned earlier that Iapos;ve been working on scanning in pictures that Iapos;ve taken at conventions and events past... Dim and distant past... Like the apos;90s. Before I got my digital cameras.

I got around 350 images in and then a buddy who I used to work with (before he got "restructured" out of a job last month) pipes up and says: "hey, why donapos;t you borrow my [not cheap] negative scanner?"

So I basically started over, with a different organization and Iapos;m about 500 images into that. Itapos;s not particularly faster, but it requires much less fussing about once Iapos;ve set up for a particular roll. Also, the frame count isnapos;t as useful as Iapos;m scanning all images off each roll, rather than picking and choosing as I was off of the prints.

Still, the negatives are marginally better organized than the prints were, and the image quality will be much nicer. Whenever it all gets done.
